About me
Caroline Doughty Smith & Greenleaves Gardening
Greenleaves Gardening was born in 2020 following a realisation that I wanted to turn my long term love of gardening into a career. I have always been a passionate gardener, eagerly helping my grandfather as a child, learning from the old pro's whilst at my allotment and working on my own gardens which have progressed in size as we moved home from South West London to Hertfordshire. After running a successful events business for many years, working in Television and having a family I decided in 2020 to embark on a year long Practical Gardening course at the National Trusts Hughenden Manor, which cemented my decision to start Greenleaves Gardening. I have an RHS Level 2 Diploma in the Principles & Practices of Horticulture, studying RHS Level 2 Practical Horticulture at Capel Manor and RHS Level 2 Principles of Plant Growth & Propagation & Development with BEST in Horticulture.
I am also a flower farmer, my home grown cut flowers are available to purchase from May to October from my home in Bovingdon.
